Випуск друкованої версії Wired запланований на 25 жовтня. Головні теми, які обговорили Wired та Барак Обама - розвиток штучного інтелекту, його вплив на майбутнє ринку праці та серіал «Star Trek» , пише Media Sapiens

«Я, як правило, залишаюся на боці оптимістів - історично ми поглинаємо нові технології, і люди бачать, як з'являються нові робочі місця, вони мігрують, і наш рівень життя зазвичай стає вищим», - прокоментував президент США існуючий стереотип про те, що невдовзі роботи відберуть роботу в низькокваліфікованих працівників.  

Це вже сьомий проект Wired, підготований за допомогою знаменитих запрошених редакторів. Про те, що новим гостем журналу стане чинний президент США стало відомо наприкінці серпня.

Попередня співпраця Барака Обами з медіа також привернула значну увагу - тоді президент написав колонку про фемінізм для журналу Glamour.
