Обвинения против Пола Манафорта хотя и оживили тему расследования российского влияния на прошлогодних выборах в США, но непосредственно с Россией пока никак связаны. Все обвинения против Манафорта связанные с уклонением от налогов и отмыванием полученных в Украине от Януковича, Партии регионов и «Оппоблока» денег. Незаконным было не само получение средств в Украине, а попытка скрыть их от налогообложения в США. Об этом в своем блоге пишет украинский дипломат Богдан Яременко. - сообщает PRпортал.
Он отмечает, что даже угрожающая формулировка о «заговоре против США» касается представления ложных данных о работе на Януковича, что делало невозможным деятельность американских государственных органов власти. Дальше – или эти обвинения хитрый ход независимого прокурора, который пытается давить на Манафорта, чтобы получить какие-то данные о возможных злоупотреблениях самим Трампом, или это все, на что способно следствие по Манафорту. По словам Яременко, то, что появилось в прессе Дональду Трампу в правовом плане ничем пока не грозит.
Дипломат отмечает, что наши антикоррупционные органы, поспешили летом этого года заявить об отсутствии информации о связи Манафорта с амбарной книгой Партии регионов. Прямых правовых последствий для Украины возможный приговор и суд над Манафортом не будут иметь. Но интересных деталей с названиями компаний, фамилиями украинских чиновников или коммерческих структур, принадлежащих регионалам, мы можем услышать немало.
