Карлос Слим - собственник America Movil. В 2014 году он приобрел акции группы компаний Austria Telekom. В числе ее активов ряд операторов Европы, в том числе - Velcom в Беларуси. Последний, по информации LIGA.net, и начал делать due dilligence Воли.

Компания Воля обслуживает около 2 млн абонентов кабельного ТВ и интернета в 34 городах Украины. В том числе интернет-доступом пользуются 670 000 (компания входит в ТОП-3 украинских интернет-провайдеров). Основные акционеры - фонды Providence Equity Partners (34,92%),Sigma Bleyzer (15,3%), ЕБРР (11,7%). 

Как сообщала недавно LIGA.net, крупнейший акционер Providence Equity Partners решил выйти из состава акционеров Воли. 

Первые слухи о покупке украинского провайдера появились еще в конце марта. Представители Воли тогда ничего не комментировали. 

Акционеры Воли начали искать покупателя в прошлом году. Новый владелец должен был появиться еще до конца декабря, среди потенциальных покупателей назывались инвестфонд Бориса Ложкина и мобильный оператор lifecell. Официального подтверждения этой информации не было.
