Такой конкурентной борьбы на выборах на востоке Украины, как мы видим сейчас, не было никогда. Такое мнение на пресс-конференции высказал политолог Алексей Гарань, передает РИА «Новый Регион».

Избиратели Донбасса активизировались из-за разочарования в тех кандидатах, которые сегодня идут от «Оппозиционного блока», а раньше представляли Партию регионов, считает директор Фонда «Демократичные инициативы» Ирина Бекешкина.

«Явка в Днепропетровске и в городах на Донбассе, где будут местные выборы, будет все-таки выше, чем на предыдущих местных выборах. Почему? Не смотря на то, что на востоке страны явка традиционно всегда ниже, чем по всей Украине, особенно на западе, на этих выборах 25 октября я прогнозирую, что явка в основных городах на Донбассе будет больше, чем ранее», — заявила она.

Бекешкина уточнила, что активизация избирателя на востоке связана со следующими причинами:

«Во-первых, это разочарование в Партии регионов и тех политиках, которые идут сегодня на выборы от «Оппозиционного блока». Во-вторых, это также связано все-таки с появлением новых политических проектов, новых партий, новых сил, которые уже себя проявили», — сказала она.
