Встреча спецпредставителя США по Украине Курта Волкера с представителем России пройдет в понедельник в Минске в закрытом для прессы формате, сообщил РИА Новости пресс-секретарь МИД Белоруссии Дмитрий Мирончик, передают РИА Новости
Ранее госдепартамент США сообщил, что встреча спецпредставителя США по Украине Курта Волкера с представителем России состоится в Минске 21 августа, планируется обсудить российско-украинские отношения. Госдеп не называл имени российского предствителя, но ранее с российской стороны диалог с США по Украине вел помощник президента России Владислав Сурков.
"Подтверждаю, что такая встреча сегодня состоится, она пройдет в закрытом для прессы формате", — сказал Мирончик, отвечая на вопрос о встрече помощника президента России Суркова и спецпредставителя США Волкера.
Как сообщил РИА Новости дипломатический источник, встреча представителей России и США запланирована ориентировочно на вторую половину дня.
