Супруга экс-президента Грузии Михаила Саакашвили Сандра Руловс отказалась от депутатского мандата, который она получила в ходе состоявшихся в октябре парламентских выборов по партийным спискам.

Об этом сообщает издание "Спутник Грузия".

Как сообщают местныеСМИ, Руловс в понедельник, 7 ноября, обратилась в ЦИК Грузии с заявлением о приостановке ее депутатского мандата.

Рулофс была вторым номером в списке бывшей правящей партии "Единое национальное движение", идейным вдохновителем и основателем которого является ее супруг. Депутатом парламента она стала после того, как ЕНД получило 27 мест в парламенте Грузии по результатам парламентских выборов.

По предварительным данным место Рулофс в парламенте займет №28 списка партии – экс-губернатор Кахетии Георгий Гвиниашвили.
