Зокрема, письмове звернення до американського Міністерства юстиції звернувся керівник юридичного відділу Сенату США Чак Грассді. Серед його вимог – перевірка правдивості підозр стосовно того, що Олександра Чалупа, яка є радницею демократичної партії та Хілларі Клінтон зокрема, нібито мала зустріч з українським послом у Вашингтоні з метою обговорення компромату на чинного американського лідера Дональда Трампа, інформує Fox News.
«Дії Чалупи підтверджують її паралельну роботу на уряд іншої країни, а саме, на український уряд, та на Національний комітет Демократичної партії та передвиборчий штаб Клінтон», - цитують журналісти Fox News уривок із листа Грасслі. Він просив, аби заступник генерального прокурора Род Розенштейн дав відповідь на лист до 3 серпня поточного року і розпочав розслідування щодо Чалупи, наголошується далі у тексті листа.
