На острове Хортица в Запорожье телекомпания ВВС начала съемки сюжета из цикла "Острова мира",сообщает Сегодня. "Снимали и на природе, и на территории комплекса "Запорожская Сечь", — рассказывают в администрации заповедника.

— Хронометраж ленты будет пять-шесть минут, видеоролик расскажет всему миру об уникальной истории, природном мире острова Хортица и о людях, которые живут на острове и посещают его".

Короткометражный документальный фильм о Хортице станет частью цикла программ об островах мира для BBC Travel и телеканала BBC World. Хортица станет шестым островом, которому посвящен фильм из этого цикла. Съемочная группа для съемки использует камеры на радиоуправляемых квадрокоптерах. Планируются съемки с суши, с воздуха и с воды.

В администрации говорят, что гости были в восторге от природы острова и его истории, но расстроились тем, что тут в продаже нет привычных британцам сэндвичей.
