Выборы президента Узбекистана состоятся 29 марта 2015 года, сообщила Центральная избирательная комиссия (ЦИК) республики в пятницу.
"На заседании в пятницу… принято решение об определении дня выборов президента — 29 марта 2015 года", — указывается в сообщении. Центризбиркомом также утверждена программа основных мероприятий по подготовке и проведению выборов президента,пишет РИА Новости
ЦИК также объявил о начале с 26 декабря избирательной кампании по выборам президента республики.
"Все мероприятия, связанные с подготовкой и проведением выборов, осуществляются Центральной избирательной комиссией, образуемыми избирательными комиссиями открыто и гласно, в строгом соответствии с Конституцией Республики Узбекистан, законами о выборах", — говорится в сообщении пресс-службы ЦИК.
Выборы в законодательную (нижнюю) палату парламента Узбекистана состоялись 21 декабря. В них приняли участие 89% избирателей (18,4 миллиона человек).
