Премьер-министр Великобритании Дэвид Кэмерон заявил, что победа на парламентских выборах дала ему мандат на пересмотр отношений с Евросоюзом.

При этом он уточнил, что этот процесс будет нелегким, сообщает SBS,передает Новое время.

Одним из предвыборных обещаний Кэмерона было проведение референдума в 2017 году по вопросу выхода из ЕС.

Политик заявил, что с момента избрания уже провел телефонные переговоры с некоторыми европейскими лидерами и анонсировал скорое начало переговорного процесса.

Как уточняет издание, экс-президент Еврокомиссии Жозе Мануэл Баррозу высказал мнение, что после переизбрания шансы Кэмерона изменить связи Великобритании стали выше, а ЕС, вероятно, пойдет на уступки британскому премьеру в некоторых вопросах.
