Сайт WikiLeaks опублікував першу частину особистих листів голови виборчої кампанії кандидата в президенти США Гілларі Клінтон Джона Подести.

Відзначається, що всього було опубліковано 2060 листів.

У листах ідеться про роль Туреччини в сирійському конфлікті, про боротьбу з «Ісламською державою», а також питання ядерної енергетики і пожертвування до Фонду Клінтон від видобутку корисних копалин.

У листі також підкреслюється, що Іран може стати «об'єднавчою темою» для Туреччини і США і згадуються Іран, Росія і президент САР Башар Асад як загрози національній безпеці для двох країн.

У штабі Гілларі Клінтон не підтвердили справжність листів.

Раніше засновник WikiLeaks Джуліан Ассанж повідомив, що до кінця 2016 року буде опублікована «значна» інформація по урядам трьох країн, а також по виборам в Сполучених Штатах.

Нагадаємо, що розвідка США переконана, що за останніми кібератаками на системи електронного листування осіб та установ у США, включно із зламами і-мейлів політичних організацій, стоїть уряд Росії.
