Супруга президента США Мелания Трамп заявила, что не всегда соглашается с тем, что ее муж Дональд Трамп пишет в Twitter. Об этом сообщает издание The Hill.

"Я не всегда согласна с тем, что он твитит, и я ему говорю это, я высказываю ему свое честное мнение и даю честный совет. Иногда он слушает, а иногда нет", – заявила Мелания во время своей первой сольной поездки в роли первой леди.

Она отметила, что имеет собственный голос и свои мысли, и для нее очень важно выразить то, что она чувствует.

На вопрос, пытается ли она "нажать" на президента США, чтобы он был более вежливым или чувствительным, первая леди ответила отрицательно.

"Нет, я говорю ему свои мысли, во что я верю, и в некоторых из них, возможно, мы не согласны", – отметила она.

Мелания также добавила, что американцы не выбирали ее, и президентом является ее муж.

На вопрос журналистов, просила ли она когда-нибудь мужа отложить свой телефон, первая леди рассмеялась и ответила утвердительно.
