Арсеній Яценюк із трибуни Верховної Ради попросив прийняти його відставку з посади прем'єр-міністра і подякував своїм союзникам і опонентам.

Після цього він вийшов із сесійної зали парламенту, не чекаючи голосування за його відставку, пише УП

"Мій уряд і я мали честь і відповідальність служити нашій країні і нашому сильному народу…", - сказав Яценюк.

Він подякував соратникам із "Народного фронту" і союзникам по коаліції "Європейський вибір" за те, що "ми зробили нашим країну сильнішою".

"Я хотів би подякувати своїм опонентам і ворогам – за те, що ви зробили сильнішим мене", - додав Яценюк.

 
 
 

"Ми спільно зробили багато для нашої країни і нашого народу, але нам треба рухатися вперед. Я прошу прийняти мою відставку. А попереду н ас чекають великі справи і великі звершення", - заявив він.

Після цього Яценюк пройшов повз натовп депутатів і вийшов із сесійної зали.

 
 
 

Виступ Яценюка тривав 2 хвилини. Після нього взяв слово президент.

Як відомо, у неділю, 10 квітня, Яценюк подав у відставку, до якої його ще в лютому закликав президент Петро Порошенко.

У середу, 13 квітня, фракції "Народний фронт" і "Блок Петра Порошенка", які формують нову коаліцію, узгодили майже всі кандидатури у новий Кабмін, який пропонують очолити Володимиру Гройсману.
