Екс-Президент України Віктор Янукович пос позов в Європейський суд з прав людини (ЄСПЛ) у зв'язку з регулярними порушеннями Україною прав людини щодо нього". Про це з посиланням на реліз англійської адвокатської компанії Joseph Hage Aaronson LLP повідомив прес-секретар Олександра Януковича Юрій Кірасир пише РБК.

"Підставою для подачі позову стало порушення стосовно Віктора Федоровича Януковича безлічі необґрунтованих кримінальних справ, порушення його права на справедливий і незалежний судовий розгляд і його політичне переслідування чинною владою як свого опонента", - йдеться в повідомленні.

Серед причин подання позову вказується рішення Печерського суду Києва від 27 липня 2015 р. до початку процедури заочного засудження Януковича, а також відмова Генеральної прокуратури України дати свідчення за місцем його фактичного проживання (Ростов-на-Дону, РФ) або в режимі відеоконференції.

"Подачу позову в Європейський суд з прав людини Віктор Янукович пояснює тим, що вище керівництво України чинить тиск на судові органи з метою винесення щодо нього обвинувального вироку. Віктор Федорович Янукович просить Європейський суд з прав людини визнати зазначені в позові дії українських державних органів порушеннями його законних прав", - зазначив адвокат.
