Свергнутый украинский президент Виктор Янукович в интервью РИА Новости рассказал о планах вернуться в политику и о контактах с представителями Украины.

"Хочу вернуться в политику. Я сегодня… То, что в моих силах, я делаю всё. Во-первых, много помогаю людям, которых преследуют в Украине, которые уже выехали, допустим, за пределы Украины. И не только в Россию. В России само собой поддерживаю с ними связь. Чем могу, тем и помогаю", — говорит Янукович.

Он рассказал, что поддерживает связи с действующими украинскими политиками. "Многие из них сегодня уже не так стесняются и не так боятся, как это было, условно говоря, год назад. Они уже комфортно себя чувствуют, когда мы встречаемся и обсуждаем вопросы", — сказал Янукович.

В феврале 2014 года на Украине произошел госпереворот: Верховная рада отстранила от власти президента страны Виктора Януковича, который был вынужден покинуть Украину, опасаясь за свою жизнь. Рада также изменила Конституцию и назначила новые президентские выборы, которые выиграл Петр Порошенко.
