Рейтинг поддержки президента России Владимира Путина сегодня вряд ли может достигать 86%, о чем говорит хотя бы марш памяти Немцова, который по численности собрал больше людей, чем проплаченный позже Кремлем митинг по поводу Крыма.

Об этом сказал во время презентации доклада "Путин. Война" в понедельник в Вашингтоне российский оппозиционер Илья Яшин, передает Укринформ.

"Мы привыкли верить на слово, что Путина поддерживают 86% населения России. С чего вы взяли? По ощущениям, ситуация не такая безнадежная", - подчеркнул Яшин.

Он отметил, что, когда убили Немцова, "более 100 тыс. москвичей, десятки тысяч людей в Санкт-Петербурге вышли для того, чтобы отдать ему дань памяти". И это несмотря на то, что на Немцова много лет "лили грязь с экранов телевидения".

Спустя несколько недель, "примерно такая же, однако чуть меньше толпа" вышла на про-путинский митинг в годовщину присоединения Крыма, продолжил российский оппозиционер.

"Марш памяти Немцова собрался за сутки, а путинский митинг собирали месяц с огромными деньгами, с телезвездами, с рекламой. А нас все-равно было больше, и это дает надежду, повод для оптимизма",- сказал Яшин.

Он подчеркнул, что оппозицию в России "давят, сажают в тюрьмы, выгоняют из страны, убивают, но все-равно не удается остановить движение демократии в РФ".
