Видеохостинг YouTube представил новый формат видео VR180, который представляет собой половину панорамного видео в 360 градусов. Об этом сообщается в блоге компании.

Как сообщается, новый формат будет удобнее для редактирования. Также отмечается, что формат 360 градусов менее удобен, поскольку действие может происходить «за спиной» пользователя. К тому же многие пользователи не используют все возможности этого формата.

Напомним, что в марте в YouTube у всех пользователей появилась возможность делать прямые трансляции в формате 360 градусов.
