Відтак тепер власники каналів на YouTube можуть додавати до чорного списку слова та фрази, які вони вважають образливими чи неприйнятними. Якщо якийсь користувач напише коментар з цією фразою чи словом, то його не буде опубліковано, допоки ютубер не перевірить його вміст особисто. 

Понад те, тепер творці відео можуть обирати серед своїх друзів особистих модераторів, яким буде дозволено видаляти коментарі.

Відтепер соцмережа також дозволяє власникам каналу закріпляти коментарі зверху чату, аби їх бачили інші користувачі, а також лайкати коментарі, які їм найбільше до душі.
