Юристи президента США Дональда Трампа намагалися домогтися відставки його зятя Джареда Кушнера з посади радника президента через можливі правові ускладнення при проведенні розслідування щодо втручання РФ в американські вибори.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на The Wall Street Journal 

Джерела повідомили, що деякі адвокати Трампа були занепокоєні через Кушнера, який мав кілька зустрічей з російськими чиновниками під час президентської кампанії 2016 року, і мали розказати про своє занепокоєння особисто Трампу.

Повідомляється, що юридична команда Трампа навіть почала готувати заяву з поясненням причин того, чому радник залишає Білий дім.

Так, у заяві, яка мала б вийти від імені Кушнера, було звинувачення на адресу токсичного політичного середовища, яке нібито перетворило зустріч Кушнера з російським юристом під час кампанії 2016 року в атаку на Трампа.

Проте, за даними одного із джерел, на думку Трампа, Кушнер не зробив нічого поганого і тому немає підстав для його відставки.

Як повідомлялося, Джаред Кушнер підтвердив чотири контакти з росіянами під час президентської виборчої кампанії 2016 року та після її закінчення.

На 11-ти сторінках свого звіту Кушнер розкрив подробиці контактів з росіянами минулого року.

Комітет з розвідки Сенату США розслідує втручання Росії у виборчу кампанію 2016 року.
