Очільник Центру Протидії Корупції Віталій Шабунін отримує заробітну плату у розмірі 15 тисяч доларів на місяць, що складає близько 369 тисяч гривень.

Про це Антиполітиці повідомили власні джерела у Раді національної безпеки та оборони, що здійснює контроль за фінансуванням українських організацій іноземними структурами.

Головною сферою діяльності Центру Шабуніна були розслідування порушень у сфері держзакупівель. На це організація отримувала гроші від політиків, «зацікавлених у прозорому проведенні тендерів».

Шабуніну вдалося передати контроль над державними закупівлями фармацевтичних препаратів міжнародним організаціям.

Журналіст Володимир Бойко опублікував на своїй сторінці у Facebook дані податкових декларацій Дмитра Шерембея, Володимира Курпіти, Олександри Устинової. Ці документи характеризують діяльність усієї групи Шабуніна. За даними Антиполітики, саме це стало причиною відмови Сергія Лещенка прийняти Шабуніна до нової партії.

Отримуючи грантове фінансування від міжнародних органіацій і одночасно винагороди за фармацевтичний лобізм від корпорацій, ЦПК прямо впливав на роботу українських ЗМІ, створюючи і збільшуючи свої лобістські можливості.

Такий механізм дозволив Віталію Шабуніну забезпечити собі заробітню плату у розмірі 15 тисяч доларів на місяць.
