Засновник відомого сервісу таксі Uber Тревіс Каланік залишив посаду голови компанії.

Про це повідомила низка ЗМІ, зокрема, The New York Times, пише ТСН

У виданні пояснили, що Каланік пішов через тиск інвесторів компанії.

Видання отримало листа із назвою "Рух Uber далі", у якому інвестори вимагали в Каланіка негайно залишити посаду та заявляли, що компанії необхідно змінити лідера.  

Після тривалої розмови із інвесторами, Каланік погодився піти у відставку, однак він залишатиметься у раді директорів компанії. 

Нагадаємо, що 13 червня голова і співзасновник Uber Тревіс Каланік повідомляв, що візьме відпустку на невизначений час.

У записці до своїх співробітників він зазначив, що йому потрібен час, щоб оплакати свою матір, яка загинула під час аварії на човні у травні.
