Засновник французської ультраправої партії "Національний фронт" Жан-Марі Ле Пен не буде висувати свою кандидатуру на регіональних виборах. Про це повідомляє Le Figaro.

Відповідаючи на відповідне питання, Ле Пен сказав: "Ні, хоча я думаю, що я був би найкращим кандидатом від "Національного фронту".

"Я не хочу завдавати шкоди нашому рухову і готовий пожертвувати своєю кандидатурою на виборах, якщо так потрібно", - додав політик.

Він додав, що виступає за кандидатуру своєї онуки Маріон Марешаль-Ле Пен.

Нагадаємо, раніше повідомлялося, що у Національному фронті відбувся розкол між її історичним засновником Жаном-Марі Ле Пеном і його дочкою Марін Ле Пен, яка нині очолює цю політичну силу.
