Американський телеканал NBC відсторонив від роботи журналіста Білла Буша і узгоджує з ним деталі звільнення після публікації запису, на якому Буш і нинішній кандидат у президенти США Дональд Трамп у 2005 році грубо обговорюють жінок.

Видання додає, що Буш вже вибачився за свої слова і планував вийти у понеділок в ефір свого ранкового шоу Today, щоб пояснити свою позицію.

"Але негативна реакція була значною. Сторінка пана Буша у Facebook була завалена тисячами гнівних коментарів. Дві жінки, яких пан Буш і пан Трамп обговорювали на записі – колишня ведуча "Доступу до Голівуду" Ненсі О'Делл і актриса "Днів нашого життя" Аріанна Цукер – випустили на вихідних заяву, у якій виразили своє розчарування", – пише видання.

Тому канал, який спершу планував лиш покарати журналіста, вирішив його звільнити. Продюсер програми Today Ноа Опенхайм розіслав працівникам лист, у якому заявив, що "просто немає виправдань словам і поведінці Біллі на цьому записі".

 

Як відомо, раніше Трамп також вибачився за слова на цій стрічці і додав, що ніколи не називав себе ідеальним чоловіком.
