Міністр закордонних справ Таджикистану Сірожиддін Аслов повідомив 4 лютого, що не отримав дозвіл на роботу в його країні фінансований Москвою засіб інформації RT, більше відомий як Russia Today, пише Радіо Свобода

«Росія неодноразово просили нас про акредитацію, але Russia Today досі не надав відповідей на кілька запитань чи сумнівів, які ми маємо», – сказав Аслов і додав, що «процес триває».

RT має бюро в Душанбе з 2014 року, але його діяльність невдовзі припинилася через відсутність акредитації.

На думку аналітиків, уряд Таджикистану стурбований впливом російської пропаганди, хоча це не позначається на роботі інших фінансованих Москвою ЗМІ, які мають кореспондентів у цій країні.
