Журналистка телеканала Fox News Хизер Нойерт назначена на должность пресс-секретаря госдепартамента США. Об этом сообщает Bloomberg со ссылкой на осведомленные источники, передает Корреспондент
 
Отмечается, что журналистка передачи "Fox & Friends" приняла предложение на этой неделе.
 
Президент США Дональд Трамп не раз положительно отзывался о "Fox & Friends", говоря, что является фанатом этого шоу уже долгое время.
 
47-летняя Нойерт поддерживала в Twitter дочь президента Иванку, когда сеть универмагов Nordstrom отказалась продлять контракт с брендом одежды и обуви Ivanka Trump.
 
Нойерт стала второй сотрудницей Fox, получившей работу в Госдепе за последние дни. Ранее журналист Джонатан Вахтел был назначен на пост представителя миссии США в ООН.
