Журналістку видання Politico Юлію Йоффе звільнили через принизливе повідомлення в Twitter про обраного президента США Дональда Трампа та його доньку Іванку.

Про це пише Media Sapiens з посиланням Forward.

Раніше пані Йоффе у грубій формі прокоментувала новину видання The Hill про те, що у доньки Трампа з’явиться власний кабінет у Білому домі, хоча зазвичай робоче місце в адміністрації президента відводиться тільки для першої леді.

«Або Трамп спить з донькою, або він ухиляється від законів про кумівство. Що гірше?» — написала журналістка. За деякий час вона видалила повідомлення, відзначивши, що повинна була сформулювати його «більш делікатно».

У Politico заявили про рішення достроково розірвати договір з Йоффе і підкреслили, що «подібні інциденти паплюжать видання».

Пізніше The Hill спростувало інформацію про те, що Іванка Трамп буде займати «місце першої леді» в Білому домі.
