Асамблея підтримала одну з правок, запропонованих проросійськими депутатами, про недопредставленість у Верховній раді депутатів від східноукраїнських регіонів

ПАРЄ готується вимагати від України парламентських виборів на окупованій території.

Про це «Європейській правді» повідомили декілька депутатів, що брали участь у закритому засіданні комітету.

Зокрема, асамблея підтримала одну з правок, запропонованих проросійськими депутатами з ліворадикальних партій, про недопредставленість у Верховній раді депутатів від східноукраїнських регіонів.

Натомість один із доповідачів, Аксель Фішер (Німеччина, Європейська народна партія), з голосу запропонував доповнити документ пунктом про необхідність виборів у Верховну раду на територіях, не контрольованих Україною.

Моніторинговий комітет підтримав дану пропозицію

Під час засідання відбулася емоційна дискусія українських депутатів із Фішером щодо даної поправки, в якій вони просили доповідача відмовитися від неї; він ухилився від прямої відповіді.
