Зведений брат Барака Обами Малік буде присутній в якості гостя кандидата на пост президента США від Республіканської партії Дональда Трампа на передвиборних дебатах в Лас-Вегасі 20 жовтня.

"Я радий можливості бути присутнім на дебатах. Трамп може зробити Америку знову великою", - сказав Малік, згадавши основний передвиборний лозунг республіканця (Make great America again), пише Новое время з посиланням на New York Post.

"Я з нетерпінням чекаю зустрічі з Маліком. Він розуміє все набагато краще, ніж його брат", - заявив у відповідь Трамп.

Малік на три роки старший за чинного президента США. За його словами, він востаннє бачив брата у серпні 2015 року і зустріч мала досить формальний характер. Брат Обами живе в Кенії, але також має американське громадянство.

Нагадаємо, раніше президент США Барак Обама категорично спростував заяву кандидатау президенти від республіканців Дональда Трампа, що в Америці мають місце масштабні фальсифікації виборів.
