Колишній керівник Федерального бюро розслідувань США , вирішив написати книгу про свою роботу, яка буде в собі містити інформацію про російське втручання в виборчий процес Сполучених Штатів Америки в 2016 році та безпосередньо його роботу з Трампом, інформує Українська правда.

Комі вже зустрічався з редакторами та видавцями у Нью-Йорку і наразі очкується, що вже наступного тижня одне з американських видавництв придбає під час аукціону право видати книгу держслужбовця. Як повідомляють джерела американських ЗМІ, видавництва виявили великий інтерес до книги, яка ще навіть не була написана. Наразі відомо, що в мемуарах Комі розповідатиметься про принципи його роботи, розслідування довкола ситуації з листуванням Клінтон, російським втручанням вибори США та пов'язаний з цим особистий конфлікт Комі з президентом Трампом. Крім того, передбачено, що книга пройде стандарту перевірку органами юстиції, які визначать, чи не містять мемуари секретну інформацію.

Нагадаємо, раніше Джеймс Комі заявляв, що після кожної із зустрічей з президентом Дональдом Трампом він робив нотатки їхніх бесід, гадаючи тоді, що «це йому ще знадобиться в майбутньому».
