Компания Google посвятила тематический рисунок 24 августа Украине, которая отмечает 27-ю годовщину независимости. Открытка-дудл представляет собой схематическое изображение долины, гор и неба с облаками, на фоне которых развевается сине-желтое знамя.

24 августа Украина отмечает День Независимости. Праздник был введен в честь принятия в 1991 году Верховной Радой Акта независимости, который ознаменовал создание Украинского государства в современном виде.
