Волонтерська група "Itchy trigger finger Ukrainians" нагадала подорожнім до та з Криму про славетну українську історію. Про це повідомив користувач Facebook Антон Ходза.

Волонтери розмістили 20 бордів, присвячених визвольному походу полковника Петра Болбочана на Крим. Бігборди розмістили біля адмінкордону з окупованим Кримом.

"Як завжди, окрема подяка Херсонській міській адміністрації та меру міста, які вже другий рік поспіль виділяють площини під наші проекти”, - йдеться у повідомленні.

Наприкінці квітня 1918 війська УНР на чолі з полковником Болбочаном форсували Сиваш, взяли Перекоп, Джанкой, а потім і Сімферополь. Слідом йшли німці, які такої не очікували швидкість української армії.

Зазначається, що тоді дуже допомогли кримські татари, які підняли повстання та вступили до лав армії, були чудовими розвідниками та провідниками.
