Ім’я покупця не розкривається, але за інформацією італійської газети Corriere della Sera, NFT твори мистецтва набула мешканка Рима – в подарунок на 60-річчя чоловіка, відомого колекціонера.

Факсиміле (точне відтворення графічного оригіналу) “Мадонни Доні” створила італійська компанія Cinello. Вона отримає половину виторгу від продажу цифрової копії картини.

Галерея Уффіці вирішила продавати NFT відомих творів, щоб поправити своє фінансове становище, яке постраждало на тлі пандемії коронавірусу.

“У перспективі продажу NFT зможуть зробити внесок у фінансування музею, який можна порівняти з доходами від ресторанного бізнесу. Це не зміни напрямку з точки зору доходів, це додатковий дохід. Але створення такого ринку – справа не швидка”, – сказав виданню директор галереї Ейке Шмідт.

Музей вже планує виставити на торги цифрові копії “Народження Венери” Боттічеллі, “Мадонни Грандука” Рафаеля Санті, “Вакха” Караваджо і “Венери Урбінської” Тиціана.
