У мережі помітили неймовірну схожість нової скульптури у Нью-Йорку зі статуеткою української художниці.
Про це повідомив на своїй сторінці у Facebook грузинський художник Ладо Почхуа.
За його словами, американська скульптура "Сидяча балерина", яка з'явилася у Нью-Йорку, ідентична статуетці "Балерина Оленка на пуфі", автором якої є українська скульптор-фарфористка Оксана Жникруп.
14-метрова скульптура американського художника Джеффа Кунса знаходиться біля Рокфеллера-центру. Вона приурочена заходу "Місяць зниклих дітей" і символізує надію та віру в найліпше.
Як відомо, скульптура – це репліка стальної балерини із серії Antiquity. У Нью-Йорку вона стоятиме до 2 липня 2017 року. Фарфорова статуетка Оксани Жникруп створена у 1974 році. Наразі вона зберігається у Національному музеї українського народного декоративного мистецтва.
