Українка стала однією з переможниць престижного європейського конкурсу IJungle 2020 Illustration Awards. Вона перемогла в номінації "Книжкова ілюстрація".


Альона Шостко представила на конкурс ілюстроване видання "Ці дивовижні українці". Проєкт розповідає про українську історію та культуру, а також про науку, революції, свята, сусідні народи тощо.

Видання стало частиною великого задуму, до якого входить інтерактивна онлайн-платформа. Книга була видана за підтримки Українського культурного фонду видавництвом Green Penguin.

Раніше українці вже здобували перемогу на iJungle Illustration Awards. У 2018 році однією з переможниць конкурсу стала Тетяна Якунова. Вона перемогла в категорії Commercial із проектом для студії Mixmax.
