В Беларуси поступил в продажу памятный рубль, с призывом "Пора! Пора!" и подписью Иосифа Леоновича. Именно этим призывом бурмистр Могилева созывал горожан на восстание против российского гарнизона в 1661 году

Рубль, был отчеканен в рамках проекта "113 городов", информирует "ДС" со ссылкой на "Хартию 97".

На аверсе монеты герб города Могилев, образ Могилевской ратуши и призыв "Пора, пора" бургомистра Могилева Иосифа Леоновича. На реверсе монеты - изображение Республики Беларусь и символом страны бусел.

 

 

 

 

Номинал монеты - один рубль. Монета не является платежным средством.

 

 

Как известно, в 1654 году Могилев без боя открыл ворота русской армии. Год спустя его осадило 12 тысячное польско-литовское войско во главе с Янушом Радзивиллом, однако безрезультатно сняло осаду. Также и в 1660 году русский гарнизон вместе с запорожскими казаками успешно отразил польско-литовскую осаду. Однако уже в 1661 году в результате народного восстания русский гарнизон был уничтожен горожанами и город вернулся в состав Речи Посполитой.
