По данным портала «Информатор», поводом «погружения в прошлое» оказалась съемка в столице мини-сериала Chernobyl, посвященного аварии на Чернобыльской ЧАЭС 1986 года.
Не так давно американский телеканал HBO сообщил о начале работы над мини-сериалом, который рассказывает об аварии на Чернобыльской атомной электростанции. При этом подчеркивалось, что проект будет включать в себя пять эпизодов. Британский актер Джаред Харрис («Союзники», «Агенты А.Н.К.Л.», «Игби идет ко дну», «Счастье», «Мертвец») будет играть советского ученого, направленного Кремлем в Чернобыль для расследования катастрофы.
