Японский паспорт приобрел новый вид. Теперь документ будет содержать работы мастера укиё-э (жанр японских гравюр) Кацушики Хокусая.

 

Работы Хокусая из серии «Тридцать шесть видов Фудзи», включая его известную гравюру «Большая волна у Канагавы», украсят страницы новых паспортов, используемых для въездных и выездных штампов. Обложка же паспорта останется прежней.

 

 

 

Редизайн приурочен к Олимпийским и Паралимпийским играм 2020, которые состоятся в Токио. Таким образом министерство иностранных дел Японии стремится привлечь внимание к японской культуре. Но кроме этого, сложный дизайн паспорта служит мерой по предотвращению подделки документов.
