Спеціально до початку жовтня креативна агенція OCB презентувала шрифт «Жовтень», створений на основі оригінальної вивіски кінотеатру «Жовтень» — важливого символу культурної історії Житомира. Цей шрифт не лише відроджує естетику минулого, але й слугує містком між історією та сучасністю, підкреслюючи культурну ідентичність міста.

Кінотеатр «Жовтень», заснований у радянську епоху, був осередком культурного життя Житомира. Попри те, що кінотеатр більше не функціонує за своїм первинним призначенням, будівля залишається важливим символом міста. Створення шрифту мало на меті зберегти цей спадок, адаптувавши його для сучасних культурних потреб.

 

Цей шрифт — більше, ніж просто набір літер. Він передає дух міста, його історію та нашу ідентичність. Ми прагнули зберегти оригінальну естетику і водночас вдихнути в неї нове життя. Шрифт «Жовтень» символізує наше прагнення зберегти культурну спадщину та наше бачення майбутнього, де гармонійно поєднуються минуле і сучасне.

Процес створення шрифту почався зі збору матеріалів з оригінальної вивіски кінотеатру. Дизайнер Пилип Грибак адаптував літери, зробивши їх більш сучасними та збалансованими, зберігши при цьому автентичний дух. Це не просто шрифт — це культурний продукт, що має значення як для сучасних проєктів, так і для збереження історичної спадщини.

Шрифт «Жовтень» доступний для використання у будь-яких проєктах і вже можна завантажити його на офіційному сайті проєкту.
