Роботи Бенксі вважаються надзвичайно цінними. Один з останніх його малюнків на стіні гаража у Британії продали за 100 тисяч фунтів. До того його картину купили на аукціоні за мільйон фунтів, однак вона сама себе порізала та стала коштувати ще дорожче. Бенксі — псевдонім англійського андерграундного художника графіті, політичного активіста та режисера, особа котрого не встановлена.
Навколо його біографії та справжнього імені точиться багато суперечок. Згідно з найпоширенішими версіями, його справжнє ім'я — Роберт або Робін Бенкс.
Графіті Бенксі стали з'являтися на вулицях з початку 1990 років. Нині його роботи оцінюються у мільйони доларів і значно збільшують вартість нерухомості, на яких розміщені.
