Американский сентор, экс-кандидат в президенты Джон МакКейн при обсуждении возможного удара США по Сирии играл в покер.

За игрой его поймал фотограф газеты The Washington Post.

После того, как МакКейн увидел, что его сфотографировали, он написал в своем Твиттер:

"Скандал! Я попался за игрой в покер на iPhone на слушаниях Сената, которые продолжаются болем 3 часов. Самое плохое – что я проиграл", - написал сенатор.

Позднее в комментарии CNN он объяснил: "Я очень люблю внимательно слушать замечание моих коллег на протяжении болем трех с половиной часов. Но иногда мне становится немного скучно, потому я взялся (за мобильный телефон)", - сказал он.

"Но самое плохое, что я потерял тысячи долларов во время этой игры", - отметил МакКейн.

На вопрос ведущего, реальные ли это деньги, он ответил, что "фейковые".
