По мнению белорусского лидера, руководство Соединенных штатов «присвоило себе право некой исключительности и этим обосновывает бомбежки других государств».

«Я думаю, это, мягко говоря, контрпродуктивно, это очень плохо, — сказал Лукашенко в интервью казахстанскому телеканалу 24KZ, — и вообще, меня Обама поражает. Еще совсем недавно чернокожие люди в Америке рабами были, а сегодня уже об исключительности какой-то заявляют. Я никогда не думал, что человек, вышедший из этих бедных слоев, сможет вообще риторику такую в мире проводить. Это недопустимо, это крайне опасно».
