Президент России Владимир Путин на встрече с активом партии Единая Россия раскритиковал предложение российского ученого передать Арктику под управление международного сообщества. С подобной инициативой выступил профессор Высшей школы экономики, телеведущий Сергей Медведев, передает Лига.Новости.

Выслушав вопрос о предложении ученого, Путин лаконично отметил: "Придурок". Идею отдать Арктику под чье-то управление Путин назвал "полной глупостью".

"Арктика, безусловно, неотъемлемая часть Российской Федерации, находящаяся под нашим суверенитетом в течение нескольких веков. Так оно и будет оставаться во все последующие времена", - подчеркнул Путин. Он напомнил, что в этом регионе находится Северный флот РФ. "И американские подводные лодки дежурят недалеко, у побережья Норвегии, - подчеркнул Путин. - Подлетное время ракет из данного района до Москвы составляет 16-17 минут".
