Отмечается, что президент США выступил с поздравительной речью в ходе мероприятия в Белом доме, посвященного индийскому празднику Дивали.

"У нас есть новости, что Рашид Санук теперь премьер-министр", - сказал Байден.

Глава государства собирается позвонить Сунаку в ближайшие дни, сообщила пресс-секретарь Белого дома Карин Жан-Пьер. Президент США должен поздравить премьер-министра после его встречи с королем и получения официального приглашения по формированию правительства.
