Згідно з матеріалами суду, перебуваючи у себе вдома, жінка користувалася соцмережею "Одноклассники" і вподобувала дописи, які автоматично відображалися на її сторінці у стрічці новин її 178 друзів.

Таким чином обвинувачена поширила три публікації. Один раз це було вподобання допису зі сторінки якоїсь групи, іншим разом відеоматеріалу зі сторінки "Комсомольская правда", в якому виражалась прихильність до бойовиків "ДНР". 

За третім разом жінка підтримала лайком текстово-графічний матеріал, в якому прославляли окупантів. На судовому засіданні жінка визнала вину повністю та детально розповіла про обставини скоєного та просила суворо її не карати. Вона зазначила, що "діяла під впливом політичних шоу" і не одразу зрозуміла, що це злочин. Зараз каже, що перебуває на боці України.

З огляду на обставини справи суд призначив покарання ближче до мінімальної межі санкції у виді 5 років позбавлення волі без конфіскації майна.
