 Посол Румунії у Кенії Драгос Тігау під час зустрічі у будівлі ООН порівняв африканців з мавпами. У зв'язку з цим Румунія оголосила про його відкликання.

Тігау озвучив цей коментар 26 квітня під час зустрічі в столиці Кенії Найробі. Розповідається, що дипломат побачив за вікном мавпу і сказав, що це "приєдналася африканська група".

Про це розповів чиновник із закордонних справ Кенії Камау Мачарі, додавши, що він "приголомшений цим огидним інцидентом". Африканські дипломати висунули вимогу про публічні вибачення, адже "приватних недостатньо".
