Відомий шеф-кухар Євген Клопотенко провів зйомки одного з випусків свого кулінарного проєкту, присвяченого українській національній кухні, у трапезній Києво-Печерської лаври.
Він розповідав про традиційні різдвяні страви, деякі з яких були забуті, наприклад пиріжки ікрою карася, цибулею та пшоном або ж гороховий кисіль. Локацію - Трапезний Храм - обрали невипадково: саме в архівах Лаври знайшли ці рецепти.
Частина українців захейтили знаменитість, назвавши його вчинок «кощунством».
Зйомки кулінарного ток-шоу прокоментували у Національному заповіднику «Києво-Печерська лавра».
За словами очільника заповідника, Трапезна палата Києво-Печерської лаври не є храмом і її використання у просвітницьких заходах відповідає чинному законодавству.
