Маріам Моширі  продемонструвала "жартівливий" жест знімальній команді, який побачили не лише вони. Це сталося в ефірі випуску о 12:00 у середу, 6-го грудня.

До початку ефіру залишалося декілька секунд, але 46-річна Маріам не встигла опустити руку. Зрозумівши, що її помилку було знято на камеру, вона швидко повернулася до традиційної позиції ведучої новин і сказала глядачам: "Прямий ефір із Лондона, це BBC News".

Згодом Моширі дала пояснення та перепросила глядачів. Вона написала на Х: "Я вдавала, що веду зворотний відлік, у той час як режисер відраховував від 10 до 0...
