Исследователи из голландской компании WeTransfer решили выяснить, как пандемия коронавируса повлияла на мужчин и женщин. Они опросили 35 тыс. человек из 183 стран мира, которые работают в креативных индустриях.

В результате опроса выяснилось, что в 2020-м мужчины чувствовали себя более уверенными и креативными, а вот с женщинами все наоборот — они в себе сомневаются (так думают 40% респонденток).

Ученые считают, что женщин беспокоит нестабильность и неопределенность будущего из-за гендерного неравенства. А пандемия может все это еще больше усугубить. По прогнозам специалистов, к началу нового 2021 года 47 млн женщин могут оказаться на грани бедности. Однако также исследователи надеются, что вместе с этим пандемия приведет к креативному ренессансу.

"Вслед за пандемией 1918 года наступили ревущие двадцатые. Сюрреализм, ар-деко и произведения таких авторов, как Фрэнсис Скотт Фицджеральд и Эрнест Хемингуэй, возникли в это время. Обуздание эмоций — особенно негативных, таких как гнев или разочарование — может мотивировать нас работать эффективнее", — сообщил редактор платформы Холли Фрейзер.
