Станом на 20 жовтня шанси Трампа на перемогу в президентських перегонах становлять 52%, а Гарріс – 42%, - пише The Hill

З кінця серпня шанси Гарріс на перемогу становили приблизно 54-56%, а шанси Трампа: 44-46%. 

Вже на початку жовтня розрив почав скорочуватися, а 17 жовтня обидва кандидати мали приблизно рівні шанси, натомість 20 жовтня перевагу отримав експрезидент.

Зміна на користь Трампа пов'язана з покращенням його показників у Вісконсині та Мічигані. Як пишуть журналісти, він також має невелику перевагу в Аризоні, Джорджії та Північній Кароліні.

З семи штатів, які можуть мати вирішальне значення у визначенні результату виборів 2024 року, лише Пенсильванія все ще віддає перевагу Гарріс.

За прогнозом перегони непередбачувані, оскільки результати опитувань у всіх семи штатах залишаються в межах похибки, тобто типові неточності опитувань можуть змістити результати в будь-який бік.
