Цю колонку писати було особливо важко. Вона дуже особиста, про похмурі часи, похорони друзів, нові виклики, про майбутнє...
 
Коли писала, трусилися руки. Вперше в житті. Про олігархів писати приємніше скажу я вам
 
Тут трохи перекладу:
«Я відчуваю, що всі ми не тільки бачимо безмежний біль і документуємо нескінченний жах; ми це переживаємо.
Кожна історія для нас однаково похмура. І вони приходять одна за одною. Дружина, яка поховала чоловіка на задньому дворі свого будинку. Мати, чий син пропав безвісти. Сестра, яка залишиться шукати зниклого чоловіка.
 
Ми є свідками не лише історій незнайомців: іноді це історії наших друзів та родини. Багато з нас є жертвами цієї війни.
 
Хто знає, скільки разів ми ще будемо на похоронах до кінця цих боїв? Скільки ще з нас помре? Скільки будуть викрадені, закатовані чи зґвалтовані? Скільки з нас будуть змушені покинути країну? Скільки з нас виживе? Скільки з нас буде протистояти державній пропаганді, коли прийде час?
Я не знаю відповідей на ці питання.
 
Я знаю, що ми не хочемо відмовлятися від свободи, яку ми здобули за останні роки: свободи слова, свободи українських журналістів, які мають мужність говорити правду незважаючи ні на що. Говорити правду про російські звірства в Україні, розповідати правду тих, хто пережив російські військові злочини.
Російська журналістика програла битву з власною владою і, як наслідок, втратила свободу. Настав наш час втрутитися. Ніхто з нас не впорається наодинці. Ми можемо зробити це лише разом. Лише критична кількість вільних і незалежних голосів може виграти боротьбу з брехнею».
